Innovative Explorations in the Celtic Tradition

Tim, Michael and Tom
"Wonderful stuff ... very fancy whistling & fiddling and great guitar."
-- Bob Campbell, "Folk Music & Beyond," KALW 91.7 FM (NPR), San Francisco

Greenbridge is a California-based band that unites the energies of three dynamic Celtic performers in a new, shared musical vision. The band combines the sounds of fiddle, viola, Irish whistles, guitar, vocals and percussion in a versatile mix that can be both driving and tender, sporting rich arrangements and innovative style.

Greenbridge is: Michael Mullen (Tempest, Caliban), Tim Hart (Tinker's Damn, Kilmor) and Tom Wagner (Oak, Ash & Thorn).

Sample music may be found on the GreenBridge website.

Melanie O'Reilly and Sean O'Nuallain, who played here on November 17 with Richard Tibbitts, appear as guest artists on the Rights of Man track on Michael Mullen's CD, Fiddler's Creed. Michael writes: Jazzy versions of this tune have been recorded before—it seems to lend itself to that—but this is a string jazz 'Hot Club of County Clare' take on it.

Date and time to be scheduled.

Cost $15 in advance, $20 at the door. All proceeds go to the artist.
