Irish session for players who enjoy playing music in a fun, non-judgemental and supportive environment.
- All instruments are welcome (not restricted to "traditional" Irish instruments)
- All abilities are welcome (if you can play a tune by yourself you can play with us)
- Must be willing to play slowly (without rushing the tune's leader)
- OK to read the music (don't have to memorize songs you don't know)
- Follow session etiquette i.e., basic social manners
Directions via the online mapping sites put the "X" a half a block to far down High Street. We are on the left, past Clark St.
More complete directions also available.
The following tunes are always played at our sessions. The tunes are available in the ABC musical notation language, (click here to download the ABC file.) If you have time practice them so that you can whip them out like a pro.

What to bring? Snacks, sweets, main dish, desert, salad, et cetera.
Players snack through out the session. At some point the group becomes hungry and tired and then the instruments are put aside and we all stand around eating and talking for a bit.
